I think CA is fun to play with and has a well-designed performance capture workflow, but unfortunately (for me anyway) that's where all the focus is. I got the Pipeline edition to explore CA as a possible replacement when Smith Micro abandoned Moho back in 2020. (For example, Frostee's 'Tamagotchi' drone startup screen.)īTW, I use Cartoon Animator too. I used Moho 12.5 all throughout Boss Baby: Back In Business for the fantasy and backstory segments, and in Fast & Furious Spy Racers for its fantasy/backstory segments plus some of the more whimsical screen graphics. I mainly use Moho 13.5.4 these days but I was still using Moho 12.5 at work even just a few months ago. (As of today (5/15/22) the upgrade is on sale for $149. See my next post for the correct info about how to get the final installer for Moho 12.5.)įWIW, Lost Marble will upgrade the Smith Micro branded Moho 12.x to Moho 13.5.x at a discounted price. Smith Micro left the final 12.5 installer available on their website for a while after they sold Moho back to Lost Marble, but I see they finally took it down. This version was the final and most stable release in the 12.x cycle, that is, until Moho 13.5.x came out. It sounds like you bought Moho Pro 12 from a third party, so I hope you have the final version which was Moho 12.5. Back then, I learned a lot from taking apart this content to see how they work. This is the content hayasidist it talking about, and you can also access it from File >Import >Import Custom Content. Moho 12 did come with some decent content already built-in and you should have it installed already. TBH, I can't recall what that content could have been but you're probably not missing out on much. Moho Pro 12 came out 8 years ago and Smith Micro hasn't supported it for quite some time, so I'm not sure you'll be able to find that free bonus content anymore.
